The development team over at Starry Studio has shared details of the Starfall Inversion. This is the upcoming anomaly in Once Human that's part of the Visional Wheel.
It was back in January when it was reported that the studio was launching the Visional Wheel. This feature shakes up the gameplay as it makes changes to familiar battlefields. The debut was dubbed the Lunar Oracle. In this one a Blood Moon appears in the sky and doubles resource rewards. However, it comes with a huge risk which is the player’s Sanity.
The Starfall Inversion
This upcoming Visional Wheel sees a colossal and shattered star looming in the heavens and whose gravitational tides are sweeping across Nalcott. Under their aberrant influence, objects and structures on the surface start to rise uncontrollably. However, in the midst of the chaos lie hidden challenges, treasures, and lots of fun.
This one is set to be launched sometime in late May until late September. Affected scenarios are Manibus, Evolution's Call, Prismverse's Clash, and The Way of Winter.
Combat Updates
Starfall Inversion introduces new gear sets like the Gravity Tide. It has different effecst depending on the number of pieces a player has. These are:
- 1 piece: Increases jump height.
- 2 pieces: Increases Magazine Capacity.
- 3 pieces: Take reduced DMG from Deviants while airborne, and gain a DMG boost after mid-air movement.
- 4 pieces: Even larger damage boost after mid-air movement.
There's also the new Mod Suffix called as Downstar and details include:
- Applicable Mods: Pants and Shoes
- Suffix Effect: When attacking units below you, you gain Crit DMG, Elemental DMG, Weapon DMG, and Status DMG buffs.
Some Cradle effects are also going to be adjusted to fit the new Visional Wheel season.
