Chucklefish and Robotality have announced the return of their award-winning game, Wargroove, with the release of Wargroove 2 on PC and Nintendo Switch. Wargroove 2 features a new campaign with a story-rich adventure and new Commanders, who will be more powerful than ever before with an advanced tiered Groove system. In addition, the game offers an all-new roguelike game mode called "Conquest," which will test the strategic abilities of players with five new unit types to master. The game also features an improved map, campaign, and cutscene editor to enhance the creative abilities of players.
Developed by German indie games studio and turn-based RPG veterans, Robotality, Wargroove 2 promises to be a fresh and exciting perspective on the franchise. The game will follow three new campaign arcs, interwoven in a fierce conclusion, and feature captivating soundtracks written by composer Dale North. Players can also battle their friends in co-op and multiplayer mode, locally or online for up to four players.
Wargroove 2 is set to bring new recruits and veteran wardogs alike to the frontline with an all-new Wargroove adventure. "We're thrilled to be back partnering with Chucklefish to bring the next iteration of the Wargroove series. It's been a pleasure taking Wargroove to the next level, in a way which feels fresh and exciting for strategy fans," said Simon Bachmann, Art Director at Robotality. The game will be available on both PC and Nintendo Switch.
