The Fun Pimps announced that 7 Days to Die is all set to leave early access this June. Once that happens, the game is going to be priced at $44.99. That's a bit steep though it may well be worth it. There's a bit of good news as the studio is currently offering the game at 76% discount until April 30.
Since entering early access back in 2013, more than 16 million copies of the game have been sold. 7 Days to Die is an open-world game that offers a rather unique mix of different genres. These include first-person shooter, tower defense, survival horror, and even role-playing games.
Explore the World
The game features huge, unique, and rich environments. There are five unique biomes and worlds as large as 100 square kilometers in size. With this, players have the freedom to play the game any way they want. Then there's the real hardcore survival mechanics that's sure to test players. With almost 50 buffs, boosts, and ailments, all of these are sure to have an impact on the gameplay.
To increase the chances of survival, players need to build their own fort. They’ll need to make sure it has electric power and other gadgets. The fort also needs to have traps, auto turrets, and other defensive items. Keep in mind also that buildings and terrain formations have the chance to collapse under their own weight from structural damage or poor building design. Make sure that they have real structural stability.
There's also the option to player the campaign world or simply enjoy the randomly generated world.
Your Very Own
Players not only create their very own characters but also customize them further in-game. This is made possible through a huge selection of clothing and armor which they can craft or loot in the world. Indeed, there are more than 500 recipes available which allow players not only to craft clothes and armor but also weapons, tools, and even vehicles. To learn more powerful recipes, players need to find schematics.
Players can also scavenge the open world to look for the best weapons, tools, and armor. There are six quality ranges which should provide for thousands of permutations.
