A Massive Update is Launching Later this Month in Erenshor

Burgee Media announced that a game-defining update is coming soon for Erenshor. The Call of the Storm Patch is expected to be released on September 26. It brings with it a wide range of changes to combat, class dynamics, world design, and the user experience.

Redefining the Experience

The patch introduces a total rebalance of core gameplay systems. For example, the combat, items, and spells have all been meticulously overhauled to allow for better balance and synergy. Meanwhile, the class roles have been redefined with major changes being introduced to key archetypes like Duelists and Paladins. A new class is being added known as Stormcaller and brings ranged archery into the fray with unique mechanics.

Expanding the World

The update is also expanding the world of Erenshor. Existing zones like Island Tomb and Krakengard have been rebuilt so that it's now larger, more open, and even better structured. Players can look forward to a new zone. Known as Willowwatch, it serves as an alternate tutorial path and improves onboarding for new players.

Gameplay Enhancements

There are also some interesting changes to the gameplay. Players for example are going to have greater control over their party. This should allow for group management having more options. Speaking of party, the size has been increased from four to five players and thus allow for more strategic compositions.

Also getting an upgrade are the SimPlayer AI (healing/combat spell logic) and Enemy AI (phases, targeting, enrage).

Erenshor is a single player adventure that’s designed to capture the gameplay and feeling of an MMORPG. Players get to meet and group with hundreds of SimPlayers, these are digital companions who persistently exist in the world, who progress independently, and always be ready to group and adventure alongside players.

Erenshor offers unrestricted exploration, strategic battles, and countless weapons, armors, and spells for everyone to discover. Players need to hunt monsters, complete quests, and explore the lore of the world. Each upgraded item will bring tangible increases in power, and soon the unwavering foes before you will be pushed aside, revealing a challenge even greater.
