For The King II is now available worldwide for the PC through Steam. It's priced at $24.99 but being offered currently at a 10% discount for a limited period. The game brings players back to the world of Fahrul and be part of a new adventure.
Inspired by tabletop adventures, For The King II is the highly anticipated sequel to the successful multi-million selling franchise. The game manages to combine all of the core elements which made the original game a fun favorite. That means it has elements of strategy, turn-based combat and even roguelite replayability. This new title though offers a new experience with the addition of the four-player co-op feature.
IronOak Games Founder and Lead Designer Colby Young revealed in a statement that they're excited to release the game and one of the factors that made it possible was the support of the passionate community. Young went on to say that the new game is three times as large as its predecessor and that they're "already working on new content to release after launch.
While For The King II may be easy to pick up and play, it's going to take skill, strategic excellent, and patience to master it. With the procedurally generated maps, it's safe to say that the game is infinitely replayable and that each playthrough is unique. Get to enjoy features like the unique yet familiar dice roll inspired movement. There are also encounter and combat mechanics to experience.
The complete campaign in the game takes at least 30 hours to complete. The campaign itself is divided into five different adventures with each one being narratively linked. While the journey may be long and the path ahead dangerous, if the party fails you get to start again but not only stronger but also wiser. That's because you now start with better items, among other things.
Get to create a party from a roster of 12 unique character classes. Each one comes with their own strengths, playstyles, and unique perks. There's the Alchemist for example who's always about potions or the heavy-handed hitter who is the Blacksmith. New characters can also be introduced to the party like mercenaries and other companions.
