Bloodgrounds Arrives to Steam Early Access this November

Bloodgrounds is releasing in Steam Early Access on November 5. The 1.0 release then follows by early 2026. The game offers tactical turn-based combat and combines it with strategic management layers. It's then mixed with RPG and roguelite elements.

The game has players lead a team of Gladiators in turn-based arena battles. They can recruit, train, and sometimes even sacrifice them for glory. These Gladiators are mortal which means that if they fall in battle, they're lost forever. As a noble heir, players manage their city by unlocking, constructing, and upgrading buildings that provide new services and mechanics to aid on their bloody quest for vengeance.

Path to Vengeance

Players take on the role of someone who fought tooth and nail for survival. It’s someone who has been driven by a burning hatred and a thirst for justice. Since then they’ve become a wealthy patron and a gladiator trainer. They plot their revenge against the tyrannical Emperor who stole their freedom and murdered their father. However, the to redemption is fraught with peril and they have to navigate a treacherous world filled with deception and danger.

Demo Update

A demo of the game was made available back in June of this year. Then recently developer Exordium Games released an update for the demo which introduces more content.

After the battle through the desert arena of Zaharr, players travel to the heart of the lush jungle Livia. This is where the Lys have established Inardia, a brutal arena that's born from an ancient temple and a shrine to Panacea, the goddess of life and good health. The place is so mesmerizing that only the brutality and the perils of the arena can rival its beauty.
