Characters from the Atelier Series Join WARRIORS: Abyss

Good news for players of WARRIORS: Abyss! Things have become exciting as alchemists of the Atelier are ready to descend into Hell. Characters from the popular JRPG Atelier Series join the 1 vs. 1,000 fight.

The free update has Sophie from the Atelier Sophie series, Ryza from the Atelier Ryza series, and Yumia from the Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land added to the game as new heroes. Each character brings with them abilities that enhance each other’s skills and appearance rates. When these three heroes are in the lineup, they become even more powerful.

That's not all. Players can also combine certain Atelier characters, like Yumia, with WARRIORS like Magoichi Saika, and result in enhancing their abilities. The enhancements are dependent on what emblems each character possesses.

Free Update

Aside from the new heroes, the free update also adds seven tracks to Music in the Collection, all of which are unlocked from the start. There's also the Download Content option added to the Great Hall.

There's the War Banner of the King, which is where players choose heroes for their formation. There should be a boost icon which now displays to show which heroes are affected by the currently selected hero's Unique Tactics. This boost icon displays yellow for heroes who activate the Unique Tactic and gray for those who do not.

New DLCs

Players can also get two Atelier DLC costume packs, each one priced at $8.99.

The Atelier Series Academy Costume Set comes with three extra academy-themed costumes for Sophie, Ryza, and Yumia. Meanwhile, the Atelier Series Vacation Costume Set offers three extra vacation-themed costumes for Sophie, Ryza, and Yumia.

Both DLCs are going to be added to the game in the second free update. The contents are then available to those who completed the tutorial.

WARRIORS: Abyss introduces a new way to play a WARRIORS title by combining the exhilarating feeling of 1 vs. 1,000 action with roguelite elements – such as randomly generated stages and items, and enhancing player strength through choices – allowing for a different experience with each playthrough while also encouraging countless hours of replayability. The game is available for the PC via Steam. It's also out on consoles PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and the Xbox Series X/S.
