Indie game studio Resummon Studios LLC announced that the official demo for Forsworn is now live on Steam. This comes after two years of development. With this, players can now experience a game that offers tactical depth and combines it with roguelike progression.
For the demo version, players can get an early peek on what Forsworn has to offer. These include:
- turn-based tactical combat built around party synergy and positioning
- roguelite progression with unique builds and evolving strategies each run
- solo or up to 3-player co-op, where all players act simultaneously
- five playable heroes, each one with its own unique archetypes and evolving playstyles
- more than 200 items, blessings, and artifacts that redefine hero mechanics
- a glimpse into the corrupted realm and the divine forces behind its downfall
A Divine War
Forsworn invites players into a dying world that's been torn apart by the ’ endless conflict of the gods. They've been resurrected by divine will and now have to go on a journey across a land scarred by war and corruption. It's a land where ancient truths surface with the morality of the divine being anything but certain. In the game, each death is not an end but a chance to grow stronger and defy fate itself.

The game is inspired by games like Inspired by Divinity: Original Sin, Baldur’s Gate 3, and XCOM. It challenges players with strategic turn-based battles that reward team synergy and careful planning. Each run offers new builds, blessings, and discoveries that reshape hero abilities and unlock devastating combos.
