Developer Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Legacy of Valor

Developer Filip Husák announced that it has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Legacy of Valor. This medieval RPG offers open-world exploration and combines it with realistic medieval combat and city-building strategy. This campaign marks the start of the game's most important phase yet.

Legacy of Valor is a grand single-player/co-op medieval RPG that puts castle building, territory management, large scale battles, and a sweeping narrative, all into one unforgettable experience. It's set in a realistic Middle Ages realm that's been torn by ambition and conflict. The game has players rise from nothing and now risk it all.

The lowest tier in the campaign is $5 and allows supporters to have their Name in Game Credits (Special Thanks) along with a Shoutout in Backer-Only Updates. There's also Exclusive Digital Wallpaper (Supporter Edition) and Special Discord Flair (Supporter Role).

The highest tier is at $10,000 and in addition to all the rewards in the previous tiers, it also has supporters:

• Become a Major Character in the game (face + voice acting)

• Lifetime Invitations to Select Dev Meetings

• VIP Launch Event Treatment (accommodation incl., travel excl.)

• Custom Painting of Your In-Game Character (by concept artist)

• Official “Patron of Legacy” Credit (prominent placement)

In a statement, founder and producer Filip Husák shared they’re excited to finally share the campaign. This comes after months of preparation. He added that they’ve put together a wide range of rewards and hope that the game “resonate[s] with everyone who loves honest [and] story-driven medieval RPGs.”

In the game, players start from the ground up and build their own settlement that can gradually be expanded into a thriving town with defensive fortifications. Key features include:
