One of the features that make RPG's unique is that it has players choose a class. Don't Lose Aggro by developer Oren Koren is offering players a different kind of experience. The game has them command chaos and master aggro management.

In Don't Lose Aggro, players get to take on the role of an MMO tank. They'll need to protect their companions as they go through those tactical and challenging battles. In addition to mastering those aggro management skills, players also need to strategically control enemy positioning and customize unique builds that reflect classic MMO tank archetypes.

The game is set in a lava-surrounded Isle of Doom where they try to survive the Cyclone Sands' sandstorms and face the final challenge in "The Fallen City."

Enemies' Attention

In the game, players need to damage enemies to hold their attention. They can also force enemies to attack them by running away. They can choose any kind of tank they can think of as they focus on control, strategy, and positioning.

Protect Companions

One of the things players need to keep in mind is that they'll need to protect the group from harm. As long as their companions are alive, they'll give players powerful abilities which can be upgraded and players a role when it comes to a successful run. The thing is, the game has players decide whether to protect their companions or possibly go full hard-core and sacrifice them.

The Tank

Players can use their abilities to make use of the tank that they want to become. Charge for example allows players to close a gap between them and the enemy. However, if they're the slower type then they can always pull enemies towards them. There are also abilities which are aggressive and focus on damage while at the same time others are about protection and healing.

Players can upgrade their lasting tanking builds by spending talent points to suit their preferred playstyle. Choices include a Dodger, Blocker, Kiter, or Taunter, each one having unique mechanics and upgrade paths.

In a statement, the developer shared that the game was result of the passion for MMORPG tanking gameplay. The game was to get the "feel of MMO group dynamics and raid challenges" though it was developed for solo play, which means free from guild drama and heavy time investments.
