Dragon Age: The Veilguard is Launching Worldwide October 31

Electronic Arts and BioWare announced that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is launching worldwide on October 31. It's going to be available on consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game is also coming out for the PC through Steam (Deck Verified), EA App and the Epic Games Store.

In the game, players take on the role of Rook. This fully customizable protagonist is one who needs to rise up and unite the crew, ultimately becoming the hero that Thedas needs in a time where legends are either born or slain. Joining players in the fight against the corrupt Elven gods is a cast of seven compelling companions, each one coming from an iconic faction of the Dragon Age lore. Aside from having their own motivations and personal storylines, these companions also bring with them unique combat abilities along with equipment.

As a character-driven RPG, the game features a crafted experience that’s been woven from the threads of rich storytelling and fantasy worldbuilding the franchise has long been known for. This bold and heroic adventure has players experience expansive and dynamic stories that navigate love, loss and complex choices that can affect relationships and the fate of each member of the Veilguard.

Standard & Deluxe Editions

While the launch date is still a bit far off, those who are excited about the game can now pre-order it. The Standard Edition for consoles is priced at $69.99. Meanwhile, the PC version is available for $59.99. The Deluxe Edition is being offered at $89.99 for consoles and $79.99 for PC. Those who pre-order the game can receive the cosmetic Blood Dragon Armor sets for the Warrior, Mage and Rogue classes as a bonus.
