Arrakis is a planet that's full of dangers. In Dune: Awakening, one of the problems encountered by players is losing vehicles to sandworm, storms, or even via combat.

The good news is that there's a plan to introduce a new mode in the Vehicle Backup Tool. It's called Recovery mode and what it does is allow players to recover their vehicles for a fee. In addition to paying a Solari fee, the recovered vehicles also lose 15% of their maximum repairable durability each time they're recovered. In addition, the vehicles recovered are brought back fully repaired and fueled.

It's important to know that vehicles destroyed in combat won't be recovered until they've been completely removed from the game world. This is to allow looting and other gameplay mechanics. Meanwhile, vehicles lost to the sandworm can be recovered immediately.

Another thing to keep in mind is that players need to be the owner of a vehicle to recover it. A maximum of five (5) vehicles are available for recovery at a time. Vehicles in the recovery tool need Note that vehicles destroyed in combat are not recoverable until they’ve been completely removed from the game world as to allow looting and other gameplay mechanics. Updated Loot

Another change coming to the game is that updated loot in PvP areas are going to be Instanced, much like loot in PvE areas. This means that each player who loots a container in a PvP area gets their own personal loot. This is to make sure that doing an activity and clearing out an area always has value and rewards for the effort.

As a way to support PvP Loot becoming Instanced, the PvP loot tables have been balanced to fit the experience of everyone getting their own loot. PvP Loot still has increased drops compared to the PvE Loot.
