Enotria: The Last Song has been released and invites players to experience a soulslike that's set in a beautiful and sun-lit world inspired by Italian folklore. The game is available for the PC via Steam. It was supposed to come out a few days from now, but Jyamma Games launched it to the platform two days earlier as a thanks to the dedicated PC community.
Aside from Steam, the game is also going to be available on the Epic Games Store. The game is also launching for the PlayStation 5.
Saving the World
Enotria: The Last Song features aspects of Italian folklore and imagery. It's set in the captivating sunlit world that's been gripped by Canovaccio, an eternal play that has thrust everything into a ceaseless stasis. Players take on the role of a Maskless One, who breathes life into the world and stands as the solitary figure that doesn't have any predestined role in this preternatural drama. Indeed, the gameplay centers on the quest of the nameless hero trying to liberate the world. To do this, players need to overcome the rather daunting Authors who have scripted this enforced stagnation. To succeed, players can harness the power of Ardore and transform into the Mask of Change.
The Masks of Fallen Enemies
One of the interesting features of the game is the ability for players to wear the Masks of defeated foes and then adopt their roles. This gives gameplay that added depth by offering a range of strengths and weaknesses for players to explore and adapt to. It also lets them switch between three customizable loadouts anytime and thus further expands the strategic frontiers of gameplay.
The game also introduces a new feature when it comes to character progression through the Path of Innovators. This special talent pool can be slotted into Masks and let players create those bespoke builds on a solitary screen and enhance their tactical possibilities.
The Ardore System
Then there’s the innovative Ardore system where players can manipulate the environment dynamically and thus further even further the strategic gameplay possibilities. The crafty use of this reality-altering power allows for multiple in-game purposes like puzzle-solving and traversing through the decaying world.
