A demo of the upcoming title Quantum Knights is here for everyone to try. It's available for the PC through Steam. This offer is part of Steam Next Fest which ends on October 16.
Steam Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games from different studios. There are free demos available along with developer livestreams for those who want to learn more information on the new titles. For the Quantum Knights demo, content includes:

Guns and Magic
Quantum Knights offers an open-world combined with TPS and RPG. It's set in a world where magic was able to advance through technology. You get the chance to be part of the "Volants," these are skilled wielders of magical firearms and tasked with suppressing rifts which have started to appear in the world. In the game, you get to farm magical firearms and complete different missions and dungeons.
Choose your Character
The game has players choose from a roster of characters which come with unique skills and styles like Defensive, Offensive, and Support, to name a few. Before assembling the team, you should make sure that the characters match your playstyle. With the ability to switch between the characters in the team, it's sure to be a fun shooting experience.
In addition to characters, you can also farm for guns that fit your playstyle. To ensure success, it's important to upgrade the guns through Modifications and Enhancements. Those able to obtain the special upgrade components, they'll soon realize that the weapon gets enhanced effects and even epic visual effects.
Explore the Vast World
As you travel across the world, you get to take on Missions, Search Operations, and Hunter's Requests. Meanwhile you can also create the gear you need by Gathering, Hunting, and Mining. For those who are lucky enough, there are rare and valuable rewards waiting to be grabbed through Treasure Chests which can appear unexpectedly. Of course, for those who want a more "structured" experience, they can always follow the storyline instead of simply going around the open world.
Enjoy different Modes
Aside from having the freedom to enjoy the open world, there are also different game modes for everyone to try. Roguelite Mode for example tests your ability to survive. Team Deathmatch on the other hand lets you show your skills. Finally, there's Mana Attrition which allows you to experience cooperative and tactical gameplay.
