Independent game developer Alan Kilzi announced that the full release of A Hero's Rest: An RPG Town Simulator is scheduled this October 18. This should be good news to a lot of fans considering that it's been almost two years since the game was launch in Early Access. In celebration, the game is currently being offered on Steam at 25% off.
The upcoming 1.0 release is indeed a milestone considering that it's also a testament to solo development. There's no question that when it comes to the journey of the game, it has truly been a labor of love especially for Kilzi. Each aspect of the game has been crafted by paying close attention to details.

What can players expect for the full version? For starters, there's going to be dynamic seasons that's sure to challenge players and test how good they are at adapting as the world around them changes. Players can also look forward to the addition of the Wisdom hero class. This should give them the chance to try out new tactical possibilities. There's also going to be new Weapon Master specializations which offer deeper customization for everyone. Another exciting change is the Herp roster being expanded along with an increase in the population cap.

There are new technical features as well to be excited about. For example, there are different improvements to the UI to allow for better visual clarity. Another is the overhaul made to the Crafter perks resulting to better balance and efficiency.
