The first part of Season 1 for The First Descendant is all set to be released this August 29. One of the highlights is the introduction of a new Descendant.
In the game, players get to take on the role of a Descendant and fight for the survival of humanity. They get to experience a spectacular story by getting stronger through different missions and stories to learn more about the secret of the Descendants. Players also get to feel the unique atmosphere that the game offers with the high-quality fields made possible through Unreal Engine 5.
The Legendary Sniper
That said, Season 1 introduces the new Descendant Hailey Scott. She was once a guerilla unit supply soldier who eventually gained fame as a legendary sniper. She is currently the newest member of the Descendant Corps.
As a sniper, Hailey can take out enemies from afar through her anti-materiel Sniper Cannon. That’s not all since she can also rapidly lower her body temperature and release Chill when emotions run high. While Hailey may be a cold-blooded sniper on the battlefield, she's also a warm-hearted hero who not only loves to make snow crystals but also want to bring smiles to children's faces.
Hailey’s Skills
Hailey’s abilities include the “Cryo Round” where she can instantly fire a Cryo Round which automatically tracks the enemy and deals damage. It also inflicts 'Cryo' which deals Additional Damage along with Hailey's Firearm Damage.
Another ability is “Storm Snare” which allows her to fire a Freezing Beam that releases a Chill Vortex around here and knocks back enemies. It also inflicts 'Cryo' on enemies that take Damage. The “Cold Fury” ability meanwhile lowers Hailey’s Movement Speed but at the same time increases her Firearm and Skill Critical Hit Rate as well as Firearm Penetration.
Finally, there’s the “Zenith” abilities where Hailey can replace her weapon with a unique one which is the anti-material Sniper Cannon. The penetration of the anti-material Sniper Cannon and Firearm ATK is increased and also deal extra Chill skill damage. The ability also lets her recover MP upon successfully attacking Weak Points and lower the Cooldown the more Bullets they have remaining when the skill ends.
