The upcoming DLC for Eastward is all set to be released on January 31. Titled as "Octopia," it's going to have Sam and John enjoy an all-new adventure.

This one is set in a parallel universe where it seems that time and space have collided. Sam and John have made the decision to start a new way of life in a peaceful corner of the globe. The two are planning to spend all their savings on a farm cottage that's clearly in desperate need of some TLC. They'll need your help especially when it comes to repairing and then revitalizing this old and neglected farmland. You'll be able to a lot of normal farm activities like growing crops, rearing animals, and even trying your luck in local fishing holes at night. Surprisingly you could also talk to ghosts.

Helping the Town

By bringing back the farm, you'll also be bringing back life to the town. One way to go about it head on over to the abandoned theme park and turn it into something that can help the community like homes and shops. As Octopia starts to flourish, there's going to be more familiar faces arriving with some of them may even want to stay in the town for good. Once this happens, the neighbors are also going to help improve daily life on the farm with those help new items and even new technology.

Speaking of neighbors, it's important to get to know them. Friends old and new are going to be here. The good news is that when it comes to Octopia, there's no miasma. There's also going to be no hardships which means happy times together. It also means working hard together to reach a common goal.

One way to enjoy the time with neighbors is to bring out that culinary creativity and cook those scrumptious meals with fresh farmed ingredients. Everything you create is going to be placed in John's Big Cookbook. Keep a look out on a wide range of new ingredients waiting to be discovered.,
