Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is launching a few weeks from now. If that isn't exciting enough, developer Saber Interactive has revealed what's being planned after the release. Today we're going to take a quick look into that.
The Year One Battle Plan for the game is divided into two parts. The first one are the free updates to be released. When the game comes out September 9, it also marks that start of Season 1. Players also get to enjoy ultrawide support along with the introduction of Private PvE Lobbies and the Battle Barge Sparring Arena. Then later this year, the studio is releasing Season 2 which adds new PvE missions and even a new enemy. Season 2 also introduces the Lethal Difficulty and the Neo-Volite Pistol.
The next two seasons are scheduled to come out next year though no specific dates have been revealed so far. For Season 3, players can look forward to a lot of new content like another new PvE mission and this time a new PvP game mode. There's also going to be a new enemy. Season 3 is also set to introduce the PvE Prestige Ranks along with the Battle Barge Expansion. Season 4 also has the new Horde Mode and the new enemy and new weapon.
Season Pass
Of course, there's also the Season Pass which players can get access to if they buy the Gold Edition or the Ultra Edition. For Season 1, the Season Pass brings with it the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack. Then for Season 2 it's going to be the Dark Angels which include the Champion Pack, Cosmetic Pack, and Weapon Skin Pack.
Both Season 3 and Season 4 have one chapter getting a Champion Pack, Cosmetic Pack, and Weapon Skin Pack. There's also another chapter that receives the Champion Pack.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a highly anticipated sequel that lets players embody the superhuman abilities and brutality of a Space Marine. Focusing on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, it offers both single and multiplayer modes where players aim to save the Empire through an incredibly immersive third-person action gameplay.
