A new Dragon Age game is coming out in Fall 2024. Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers a new single-player fantasy RPG experience. This is the fourth title in the Dragon Age series and to be available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game has players take on the role of a new and fully customizable hero named Rook. They'll be fighting it out in the front lines along with an extraordinary cast of heroes that's known as the Veilguard. Fellowship is key to the game with each companion joining the battle with their own storylines, skill trees, and even motivations. In an adventure that decides the fate of Thedas, Rook has to rise up and rally a team to become an unexpected leader that others believe in.

Meet the Companions

Each companion in the game brings with them their own expertise when it comes to the fight. The thing is that players get to mix and match different combinations from a total of seven companions. There's Bellara for example who's a creative and romantic Veil Jumper that's obsessed with learning more about ancient secrets. Davrin meanwhile is a bold and charming Grey Warden who managed to make a name for himself as a monster hunter.

Another possible companion is Emmrich, a necromancer of Nevarra's Mourn Watch. He joins the fight with his skeletal assistant Manfred. The dwarven scout Harding is a companion with a big heart, a positive outlook, and of course, a ready bow. There are even some unexpected magical powers.

Players can also look forward to meeting Lucanis. This poised & pragmatic assassin is someone who comes from the bloodline of the House of Crows, a criminal organization that's renowned across Thedas. Neve may be a cynic but is fighting for a better future not only as a private detective but also as a member of Tevinter's rebellious Shadow Dragons. Finally, but not least, is the dragon hunter Taash who's allied with the Lords of Fortune and lives for adventure and doesn't mind taking risks.

For the PC version, you can now wishlist Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
