Lies of P to be Available for Mac at Launch

Developer and publisher NEOWIZ announced that the Lies of P is also releasing on the Mac App Store and to available on Macs with Apple silicon. The game is coming out September 19 and also launching for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through Steam.

Round8 Studio head Jason Park said that they're happy that game is coming to the Mac. With this, he added, more players have the chance to experience this Souls-like game.

Lies of P is inspired by the story of Pinocchio. It's set in a dark and Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. This once beautiful city has become a living nightmare with deadly puppets running amok as a plague sweeps the land. Players take on the role of P, a puppet who has to fight his way across the city in an effort to find Geppetto and become human. The game offers players an elegant world that's filled with deep combat, tension, and character customization systems. There's also a gripping story which has interesting narrative choices since the more lies are told, the more human P becomes.

Key features of the game include:

• A Dark Fairytale, Retold: The timeless story of Pinocchio has been reimagined and this one has dark and striking visuals.

• Captivating Visuals: The city of Krat is inspired by the Belle Époque Era in late 19th Century and early 20th Century Europe. It's a symbol of a collapsed city that's devoid of prosperity and filled not only with beauty but horror in equal measure.

• 'Lying' Quests and Multiple Endings: Get to Experience interconnected procedural quests which play out depending on how players lie and affect how the story ends.

• Precise Gameplay: Face unique combat encounters through a focused and rewarding melee combat system. Be sure to master P’s arsenal of weapons and abilities to overcome the toughest challenges.

• Weapon Assemble System: Combine weapons in different of ways to create something new altogether. Research to find the best combinations and make something truly special.

• “P-Organ” Skill System: Playing as a living puppet has its perks like being able to change parts of the body to obtain new skills and get an advantage in battle. However, not all enhancements are for fighting since some can give other unique and useful features to help on the journey.
