New Collaboration Event Now Live in Atelier Yumia

KOEI TECMO America and developer Gust announced that a new and free collaboration is now live in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. It's with none other than Tales of Graces f Remastered.

The highlight of this partnership is the release of a special collaborative costume. This special costume for Yumia features Asbel’s outfit from Tales of Graces f Remastered and now available as free DLC.

New Music

The studio also announced in a statement that players can download the "Atelier Series Legacy BGM Pack" for free. This can be used to change the background music in the game and includes a special selection of more than 1,000 songs from past Atelier series titles ranging from Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg to Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy.

There's also a new map available. Known as the "Falbra Thicket," it's hidden deep within the Ligneus region. The new map is packed with a new Pioneering Effort, new items, a spacious Building Area, and new quests focused around the Alber.

Start of the Journey

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land has players follow alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research team in hope to learn more about the mysteries behind the cataclysm that destroyed the once great continent of Aladiss. The journey begins in the Ligneus region. This is where the Research team establishes its first base. Yumia gets to travel across the plains and forest that make up the landscape while at the same time discover research facilities abandoned by the alchemists of the time.

The world of Atelier Yumia is a vast and open field. It’s a landscape where players are free to explore in any direction. Meanwhile, combat in this game is real-time and tests the players’ ability to make quick tactical decisions. There’s a wide range of actions based on “range” and “items”, with the game providing two types of attack ranges to switch between skills strategically, while items synthesized during gameplay can transform into weapon shapes for use in battles.

The game’s Synthesis system allows players to manipulate “mana” residing in materials to craft new items per recipes. The resulting crafted items can exhibit potent effects in scenarios such as exploration and combat. The game also offers players an opportunity for base building with the “Simple Synthesis” function.
