It's been a little more than two weeks since Wandering Sword was officially released. However, that hasn't stopped developer The Swordman Studio from introducing new features to make the game even more fun. Today we'll check out what those new features are all about.
Enjoy the New Features
The first is something that casual players are sure to love and it's the Auto-Battle Mode. What makes this feature even better is that it can be activated at any point during the battle. It's available not only in real-time mode but even for turn-based mode. All that players need to do is choose between Auto/Manual based on their combat preference. Another good feature is the Failed Quest tab. This is where players can view the quests that they have accepted but were unable to complete.
What else has been added? There's also the meridian points reset function which players can access through the game's Meridian Map interface. Finally, there's the Preferred Combat Mode Selection. This is a feature where players can choose where they want to have turn-based battles or real-time combat.
Quest Optimizations
Of course, it's not all new features as players can also look forward to optimizations and bug fixes. In particular, quest optimizations made include:
- The “A Rare Score” side quest prerequisites have been adjusted and players can now accept it before becoming a Discipline Disciple.
- Main and side quest bosses now have a 100% drop rate for skill books.
- In the "Badlands Stronghold" side quest, players now have to interact with “Frosty Condor” before leaving the village.
- Upon starting the “Mount Tianshan” main quest, players can no longer access Nanjiang.
- The prerequisites for the “Trial of Xuanhuo” side quest have been adjusted and players now have to join Wudang sect before accepting this quest.
- Different Condor School-related main quest branches have been introduced. Depending on the player’s choices, future quests now present different dialogues and vary in battle difficulty.
