A new update has been released for Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree and brings to the game one of the most extensive content and balance updates to date. The highlight of Update 1.6 is the introduction of a new game mode.
It's known as New Game Plus or NG+. This one challenges players to the ultimate trial. It has players restart their journey and go through as many NG+ cycles as they can. Details include:
- Enemies grow tougher with every cycle as their strength scales to match the power of the players.
- NG+ versions of weapons, off-hands, and rings can now be found to upgrade the arsenal.
- Random empowered auras and effects appear on enemies, which offer both greater danger and greater rewards.
In addition to the new game mode, other new features are:
- 3 New Weapons: Aurora, Crimson Slicer, and Reignbreaker.
- Skills, Talents & Nodes: Players can now remove and return skill upgrades, talents, and nodes at the Witches' Altar. The ability to instantly learn talents and nodes has also been added.
- Gliding: The gliding mechanic has been improved and provides better activation timing and fewer accidental cancellations.
- Boss balance: Bosses such as Sleepwalker and the final boss have been optimized for clarity and fairness.
- Combat Balance: Changes to the activation of Nightshade's Shadowstep and Vanguard's Adrenaline abilities along with improvements to enemy hitboxes and the clarity of their movements.
- Bug fixes: Dozens of crash and logic bugs have been fixed, including animation glitches, map inconsistencies, and talent malfunctions.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set in the dark and immersive world of Faelduum, which is teetering on the edge of ruin. Players take on the role of an Inquisitor who’s tasked with rooting out heretics and enforcing the King Priest’s will. Their devotion has never wavered until now. The game features Soulslike combat and combines it with non-linear exploration. It offers challenging battles along with deep character customization and a narrative shaped by player choices.
