Developer Pastaspace Interactive and indie publisher Camlann released a new gameplay trailer for Underspace. This upcoming sci-fi RPG is inspired by classic space games and features an open world where each star system has been crafted by hand and each sector has something for everyone to discover. The game follows the story of Kardoz, a disgraced noble who has been stripped of his wealth and power and now lives as a starchaser.

While the game does provide you with a prompt, it’s up to you to discover how the story unfolds. No matter what role they choose, you can find their footing as they see fit. Here some of the key features of the game:
- Play Your Way: Choose from a wide range of roles and tell your own story. Enjoy the freedom when it comes to carving your own destiny as no two playthroughs are the same.
- Kill The Storm: Journey across 70 handcrafted star systems, where each one could fall victim to foul weather.
- There Be Monsters: Fight against world-eating serpents, possessed battleships, and even living minefields. There are more than 20 unique bosses to defeat on your way to untold riches and glory.
- Dynamic Dogfighting: Give enemies hell and rip through the enemy formations. While combat is manual and skill-based, there’s a focus on speed and aggression. Be sure to dodge and weave through enemy fire while getting those kills in this rather satisfying spacefighting circus.
- Your Ship, Your Choice: Fly, paint, and customize at least 60 different ships. There are also more than 150 pieces of equipment available. You can also choose your race and build your character/ What dangers and threats arrive your way, you’re sure to be more than ready to face them.
- Every Star A Story: Get to befriend or befuddle at least 40 different factions. Each faction comes with their own alliances, goals, cultures, and preferences. Take on random assignments or discover hidden stories and questionable motives in about 30 unique sidequests.
