New Trailer for Project EVILBANE Shows In-game Combat Sequences

Netmarble has released a new trailer for Project EVILBANE. This was shown during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast” special program.

The trailer puts focus on the in-game combat sequences as it highlights the cooperative boss battles. It also shows how players can switch seamlessly between melee weapons and ranged options. The trailer also gives a peek into the “Heavenstone” Skills which can turn the tide of battle in an instant.

What’s Happened So Far

Pre-alpha test for the game started back on August 29. It was part of the Xbox Insider Program and was available for users in the US and Canada. The test has since expanded to include more regions that include Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.

Then on September 25, the studio made the wishlist pages for Project EVILBANE available on both Xbox and Steam. More details on the game are planned to be released in the coming months.

In a statement, Netmarble Game Publishing Director Jung Ho Lee shared that the game is being developed in partnership with the community, especially with the feedback received from early testing being able to shape the direction of the game. He added that they’re excited to expand the test regions and hope that more players around the world join and “share their thoughts.”

Project EVILBANE is a third-person co-op multiplayer action game that features high-end graphics powered with the Unreal Engine 5 and combines it with dynamic and tactical combat. The game has players able to freely swap between melee and ranged weapons in real time. This allows for fluid encounters where timing, positioning, and reactive counters are critical to survival.

Project EVILBANE is set in a vast dark fantasy world. It follows the story of squads fighting against demonic forces, warlords, and opportunistic factions. This is all about the survival of humanity and the process of rebuilding. Players can form teams of up to four and infiltrate hostile territories, completing missions that unlock greater challenges and higher rewards.
