New Update for Lost Ark Makes Adjustments on Progression

Developer Smilegate RPG has released a new update for Lost Ark. It makes adjustments on the progression, particularly on two systems. This is the Elixir progression system and the Transcendence system.

For the Elixir progression system, the change was made to ensure that Elixir transmutation was faster while at the same time being strategic. This should simplify the whole experience. For example, Normal Elixirs, which usually use Gold, have been replaced by a new Elixir that required Gold. Potent Elixirs meanwhile, which uses Silver, are replaced with a new Elixir which needs Silver.

Elixirs with completed transmutations stay as is. Another adjustment is that Elixirs progressing through transmuting or refining are replaced with materials which correspond to the dismantle result. In addition, paid items without a dismantled result are replaced with new Elixirs.

• Players should also be happy to know that the transmutation experience has been simplified:

• Decreased transmute times from 14 to 10. The amount of Splendid Essence of Wisdom provided after dismantling an Elixir is adjusted due to changes in its transmutation times.

• Removed the Order/Chaos Gauge System, and modified the advice options granted by the Sages.

• Increased the base Great Success Rate from 10% to 40%.

• Decreased the number of "View Other Options" from 2 to 1.

Transcendence Adjustments

Overhauled as well is the Transcendence system to simplify the progression path. The system now purifies Stone Tablets rather than breaking them. What happens is that when Transcendence starts, that's going to be a little fairy that's located at the beginning stone. Once the button is pushed to use an elemental, the fairy moves a designated number of times with each elemental card having an activation probability. Once the fairy moves through all the tablets and reaches the last one, the transcendence is complete.
