New Update for SMITE 2 Introduces Consumable Dropping

The latest update for SMITE 2 has been released and adds a lot of new content to the game. These include new features that players can enjoy like Consumable Dropping. Basically, players are now able to drop a Consumable Item in their inventory if they pick up a new Item while both the consumable slots are full.

What happens then is that the dropped consumables stay on the ground for 120s and can then be picked up by anyone on the allied team by simply pressing the Interact key. How it works is that the system tries to drop items in Consumable Slot 2 first. If there is an item in Consumable slot 2 that can't be dropped, the system then drops the Item in Consumable slot 1.

Meanwhile, the non-droppable items are:

Wandering Market Update

Players should be happy to know that they can now buy Wandering Market coins from the Wandering Market Hub screen. They can purchase packs of 500 coins and after that can buy multiple packs of 500 at once from the purchase confirmation screen. The purchased coins don't count toward the 20,000 Coin cap. For players who purchased and earned coins, the earned coins are spent first to ensure that they're below the cap and earning coins.

HUD Editor

Another interesting addition is the new slider for the game's minimap "Background Opacity." It lets players change the opacity of the minimap and the minimap icons independently. Be sure to check out the other widgets been added to the HUD editor.
