Developer Render Cube and publisher Toplitz Productions released a new video for Medieval Dynasty. In it we get to learn more about the co-op game mode, which a lot of players have been eagerly awaiting. The same video also gives more details on the other features arriving with the free update. This update is coming for the PC through Steam on December 7. Meanwhile for console and other PC platforms, it's launching sometime in 2024.
This upcoming update is set to be one of the largest and most exciting since the game was first launched. The new co-op map to be introduced to the game is known as The Oxbow. Other new content arriving map include new enigmatic characters, new quests and even a character customization mode. By the way, both solo and co-op players can join in these new quests.

Destiny in your Hands
Released in September 2021, Medieval Dynasty puts you in the role of a young man who managed to flee from war and now wants his fate to be in his own hands. You start inexperienced and poor developing skills to eventually become the leader of a community and probably a founder of a dynasty that lass for generations. The game lets you choose what to do whether you follow the main chapters, solve the questlines, or simply just roam around and explore this vast medieval world.
Combination of Genres
What makes Medieval Dynasty unique compared to other similar titles in is that it combines various genres. These include:
- Survival: The need to survive, feed and ensure survival through hunting, farming and cultivation of the land.
- Simulation: Create tools and weapons, construct and extend houses, stables and all manner of buildings as you grow an empire.
- Role playing: Develop your own character, interact with NPCs, take care of your family and form community alliances by helping others and trading freely.
- Strategy: While pioneering in the Middle Ages you’re going to found and expand a village, manage the inhabitants, collect resources and produce all the goods you need and use or capitalize by trading them.
