Sci-fi RPG Within the Cosmos Now on Steam

Developer debdev announced that Within the Cosmos is officially available on PC via Steam. This is good news to those who have been waiting for this single-player and first-person sci-fi RPG to come out. After years of being in dedicated development, players can now enter a universe that's on the brink of collapse. It's a world where choices shape the future.

The game is set in the year 2278, a time when humanity is on the brink of extinction. Players take on the role of a member of the United Earth Space Agency or UESA. They've been chosen to be one of the 500 who are going to cryogenic sleep and put on a starship all the way to the secluded Adallio star system. This hidden refuge is far from the devastating war that has consumed Earth and is seen as the last hope of survival for humanity.

However, it appears that something has gone wrong. The ship arrived generations later than what was originally planned. Upon awakening, players discover a fractured society. Humanity seems to have splintered into different factions. Each one has its own politics, philosophies, and of course, ambitions. Making things worse is that a mysterious and deadly android enemy has recently emerged and threatens that fragile peace.

In the middle of all the tension and turmoil, players have to navigate this divided world and try to unite the factions. They'll also have to uncover the truth behind the relentless android attacks. The future of humanity now depends on the choices of the players.
