Season of The Two Embers - Part 1 is launching in Sky: Children of the Light on July 21. This new season introduces players to a never-before-seen cinematic storytelling experience that unfolds in parallel with immersive gameplay. It's one that combines film, interactive narrative, and cooperative play, in a way only Sky can deliver.
Season of The Two Embers - Part 1 follows the story of an orphan who's chasing hope in a world that's slowly succumbing to darkness. The story unfolds in its entirety without dialogue and presented through a series of animated chapters players can watch together in-game. Each chapter is accompanied by playable Seasonal Quests that puts players directly into the events of a kingdom’s final days.
A Companion
At the heart of the journey is a gentle and expressive manatee. This is a companion who responds to the actions of the players and stands by their side through the highs and lows of the story. The bond grows over time and mirrors the emotional depth of Season of The Two Embers - Part 1. It also reflects the game’s themes of empathy, trust, and quiet resilience.
New Environments
This new season also introduces what can be described as the most expansive and dynamic new environments in the game. There's a bustling market village for example that's alive with Spirits, vibrant activity, and has many hidden moments to discover.
