XSEED Games has announced the opening of digital pre-orders for their upcoming action-RPG, Silent Hope, on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch. The game is set to release on Oct. 3, with all digital pre-orders and purchases on eShop for the first week after launch receiving a special 10% discount. Steam players will similarly enjoy a 10% launch week discount. The cherry on top? All early bird digital purchases within the first week of launch will also receive the “Wanderer’s Special Weapon & Voidstone Set” DLC for free. This bonus offers players an in-game weapon for the Wanderer, one of the seven heroes braving the Abyss.
Silent Hope is a modern twist on the classic isometric dungeon-crawler genre. Players will take on the roles of seven unlikely heroes, each with their unique weapon, fighting style, and non-combat job. The heroes will battle through enemies and collect materials in The Abyss, before returning to Base Camp to craft, improve gear, and prepare for their next excursion. Each journey into The Abyss offers a fresh experience, with procedurally generated layouts ensuring no two adventures are the same.
Pre-orders are now open for the physical Day 1 edition, which includes an artbook with over 100 pages and a soundtrack CD with 33 tracks, at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $49.99. The standalone base game will be available digitally for $39.99 on Nintendo eShop and Steam. And for those keen to know more about the world and playable characters in Silent Hope, they can visit the recently launched Official World Guide. The game is currently being showcased at the XSEED Games booth at PAX West, located at the Seattle Convention Center, North Hall #1325 between Sept. 1-4.
