Silent Hope Showcases Heroes in Newest Gameplay Trailer

A new gameplay trailer for Silent Hope has been released and it's sure to make the excitement even greater. That's because it gives us a peek at the seven playable characters together with their strengths and unique fighting styles.

Official World Guide

That's not all since publisher XSEED Games also came out with the first installment of the game's Official World Guide. It offers information available online on the setting of the game and its characters. Over time and before the game is officially released, the guide is going to be expanded with new details added along with new assets and even tips from the development team.

For now, everyone can learn about the historical events which led to the Princess being suspended in a crystal teardrop. The guide also provides a look into the seven heroes, their respective backstories, and how they were able to find their way to the Great Crystal. There's also a description of the weapons that each hero wields and the kind of advanced classes that can be unlocked.

Journey to the Abyss

The game brings back players to the time of isometric dungeon-crawlers but this time with modern flair added. They choose from one of the seven heroes, each one having a unique weapon, a fighting style, and even non-combat job. Players journey to the Abyss to fight enemies and collect materials. They then return to Base Camp and prepare for the next excursion by crafting new weapons and improving their gear. What players can look forward to is that each adventure in the Abyss is a new experience due to the procedurally generated layouts. This means that no two adventures are ever the same.

The standalone base game is available digitally for $39.99. A physical Day 1 edition is also offered, priced at $49.99, which has the base game along with an artbook having more than 100 pages and a soundtrack CS containing 33 tracks.
