Studio Extends End Date of Startree Solstice Pass for Throne and Liberty

NCSOFT announced that they're extending the end of the Startree Solstice Pass for Throne and Liberty. The reason for this is because the Startree Solstice Pass Point Shop closed earlier than intended. That means it's now ending on January 16.

The studio shared that this should give players who missed out some of the Point Shop rewards a chance to not only finish quests but also spend any remaining star crystals that they may have. In addition, all previously unlocked progress remains intact.

While this is indeed good news, the studio revealed that the premium pass track is now longer available for purchase. Then once the Startree Solstice Pass season ends, any remaining Star Crystals are converted into Quality Recovery Crystals.

Improved Settings

Aside from the announcement, the studio also released a new update which makes changes to the Settings. In particular, the presentation of Combat Settings presets have been improved. This is because they were causing confusion to players especially when making settings changes that then only applied during combat.

With the update, there’s now a Current Settings tab which shows settings currently applied to the client that allows players to make changes. These are saved and applied in real time. Meanwhile, Individual Settings Presets are now applied persistently when activated instead of only applying during combat mode.

General Changes

Some of the other general changes made include:

  • Guild Summon gates now properly last for the expected 3 minute duration.
  • Saurodoma Island: The dungeon token selection box awarded for successfully claiming chest spawns will now expire after 24 hours if not opened.
  • Maps: Adjusted the placement of the Region Details UI for available content and monster info.
