Independent developer Timesea Studio shared new visuals for their upcoming multiplayer action RPG Infinity Knights: Xross. This is in celebration of the game's one-year development milestone and crowdfunding debut.
The studio shared that this is a "heartfelt thank you" to the community who helped build the momentum and excitement. The newly released visuals give a look into the immersive biomes of the game. Each biome in the game isn't only visually distinct but also filled with in-game lore. The visuals offer a peek into the dynamic and real-time combat system. The evolving combat system has been designed to deliver intense, fast-paced, and real-time encounters that are just as tactical as they are visually striking.
Talking about the game, Timesea Studio Producer and Lead Programmer Saxon Goodrick shared in a statement that they’ve managed to come a long way ever since the successful wrap up of the crowdfunding campaign. He added that it has been “an incredible journey” and the anniversary milestone is a change to thank the whole community.
Infinity Knights: Xross is inspired by the beloved RPGs of the '90s. It’s a visually striking, retro-inspired multiplayer co-op action RPG that features original music composed by none other than renowned artist Hiroki Kikuta.
The game has players take on the role of the main protagonist, Xross, the newest member of the Infinity Knights. They get to go on a transformative journey filled with thrilling adventures and profound challenges in a gripping tale about the dark reality of eternal life.
Along the way, players learn to wield powerful weapons called The Armaments. These are weapons that are able to capture the souls of the defeated. They get to engage in dynamic combat that allows players to seamlessly switch between elements and weapons mid-combo while at the same time synchronizing attacks with allies for devastatingly effective results.
The game offers an immersive experience that can be enjoyed solo or in multiplayer cooperative modes. Players can team up to explore a lush fantasy world rich in lore, epic quests, and formidable bosses.
