There's about 11 weeks left before the year is done. Before that, there's a treat available for everyone in Dying Light: The Beast.

In a post, Techland revealed that they'll be releasing "a series of updates" that's meant to not only increase replayability but give players more endgame content. These include New Game+ and Legend Levels along with the ultimate Castor Woods challenge in Nightmare Difficulty.

Players can also look forward to new weapon executions, visual and QoL improvements. There's also going to be Ray Tracing on PC and even an exciting collaboration with PUBG Mobile.

Community Challenge

The studio is launching 11 weeks of community challenges that bring with it 22 exclusive prizes. There's also one Legendary Reward. The "Call of the Beast" has started and to run until January 7, 2026.

How it works is that for each week, there's a new set of exclusive rewards available that feature a weapon and a fresh car skin. To get the weekly rewards, players need to contribute to the goal that week.

In addition, those who stick together with the community to complete at least 17 of the 22 goals get to unlock a secret Legendary Reward which players can receive at the end of the event. In addition, if the community completes 20 goals, everyone who participated in at least one challenge receives all the rewards, regardless of when they began taking part in the event.

Joining the event is easy and straightforward. Simply play during the challenge and contribute to reaching the goals set for the week. To find out the week’s challenge and its rewards, the community’s progress and more about Call of the Beast, check out the dedicated page on Dying Light Outpost.
