Get ready to blast your way across dungeons and release those inhuman powers as the full version of Hell Clock is now on Steam. The best way to describe the game is that it is Brazilian history meets roguelike action in a way that's never been seen before.

Hell Clock is set in the 19th century, a time when Canudos had turned into a refuge for thousands. Its people defied the new Republic and faced brutal retaliation which resulted in 25,000 dead. You get to take on the role of Pajeú, a warrior who's fighting to rescue the soul of The Counselor, his fallen mentor. With each descent, time warps and your power grows as you face the dark forces that claimed his head and trapped his soul.

Supporter’s Edition

Hell Clock is being offered for $19.99 on Steam. There's also the option to get the Supporter’s Edition, priced at$29.99. In addition to the base game, it comes with the game's Original Soundtrack, the "Step into Hell" visual effect, and the Cursed War Expansions, which releases next year.

Launch Version

For the launch version, you can look forward to various features that include:

  • A full 3-Act Campaign that's inspired by the War of Canudos.
  • The Ascension Endgame (Beta version).
  • 27 powerful Constellations to build unique loadouts.
  • Ascension customized difficulty scaling up to Hell 35.
  • Full Brazilian Portuguese and English voiceovers.

Initial Roadmap

With the game officially launched, developer Rogue Snail released what's beig planned for the game. For starters, September 2025 sees the introduction of the Clockmakers’ Tools. There's also a major free update to be released which brings with it a full crafting system, new crafting currencies, and a corruption mechanic that's sure to push your builds to new levels of risk and power.

When November 2025 rolls in, the Movement 2.0 update introduces players to a complete freedom to move and attack with any skill. Also released at this time is a fully overhauled animation system with the build potential of the Constellations expanded.

The game's first paid expansion then comes out in the first quarter of 2026. The Cursed War features a new Act 4 campaign, new biomes, monsters, bosses, skills, Relics, and a powerful Cube Crafting System. A free update is also coming out alongside the expansion. It's going to see the release of the full version of the Ascension Endgame, 12 new biomes, and improved random dungeon generation.

Hell Clock is a good choice for those who are fans of ARPG progression and depth as well as those looking for the faster nature of rogue-lites.
