NeocoreGames is all set to release the upcoming expansion for King Arthur: Knight's Tale. Dubbed as Legion IX, it's coming out in early 2024. Players can look forward to new heroes and new enemies. There's even going to be new combat mechanics to be introduced.
In this challenging expansion, the kingdom of Avalon faces an all-new threat. It seems that the Roman Ninth Legion has discovered a path to the mystical island and is now preparing for an invasion. Legion IX offers a new Roman campaign through the eyes of a tribune of the Ninth Legion. It's up to players to uncover the remains of a Roman colony in Avalon and learn the hidden secrets of the Lady of the Lake.
In King Arthur: Knight's Tale, you get to play Sir Mordred, the former black knight and nemesis of King Arthur. Mordred has managed to kill King Arthur but with his dying breath also managed to strike you down. The two of you have died but appear to also live. It appears that the Lady of the Lake, who rules the mystical island of Avalon, has brought you back to end a true nightmare. She wants you to kill King Arthur or whatever he has become.
With King Arthur: Knight's Tale, you get the chance to experience a unique combination of traditional and character-centric RPGs with turn-based tactical games. The game offers a dark fantasy version of the Arthurian mythology and invites you to manage a team of heroes on the dangerous battlefield.
As Mordred, you get to gather your knights and then send them on quests which include deep and tactical battles. Assemble your team of heroes from a choice of six classes which are Defender, Champion, Marksman, Vanguard, Arcanist, Sage. Get to level them up, obtain unique skill points, and of course, make sure to equip them with the best items that's looted from missions. It's not going to be easy since heroes can die and while their injuries, diseases, and curses can be treated, it's going to take time.
