The Outer Worlds 2 has been released and is now available for the PC via Steam. It's the sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment.
Players take on the role of a daring and good-looking Earth Directorate agent. They've been asked to learn more about the source of the devastating rifts that's threatening to destroy all of humanity. The investigation ultimately which is the home of skip drive technology. It's a place where the fate of the colony, and with it the entire galaxy, now rests on the decisions of the players.
A Factional War
The Arcadia colony is actually engulfed in a factional war. That's because the so-called benevolent rule of the Protectorate is now being challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends.
Rise to the Challenge
In The Outer Worlds 2, players can build their character with the abilities and choices that reflect their playstyle. The colony reacts to their every move as they craft a narrative that’s theirs to own.
The good news is that players won't be going at it alone. They can recruit companions having unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Thus whether they choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward their own objectives, their influence shapes their growth (or death) and make them an integral part of the immersive story they create together.

In addition to the story and characters of The Outer Worlds 2, there are also interesting technical features.
