The newest season for Torchlight: Infinite has arrived. Outlaw invites players into a high-stakes and cyberpunk-inspired world that's ruled by a corrupt megacorp begging to be robbed blind.
New Seasonal Mechanic
The new season introduces a new seasonal mechanic called the Carjack & Crime System. It has players hunt down Tower Co. transports, crack open encrypted supply caches, and fight off waves of reinforcements. Each heist increases the Crime Rating of the players and unlock access to Black Market Bounties. It also comes with elite side objectives that offer huge payouts and deadly risks.
Players can cash out their stolen Tower Coins in a high-stakes Central Vault raid. It's where every strongroom opened increases the alert level and the chance of drawing out a boss fight players might not survive.
New Hero Trait
The most elegant knight in the game takes a deadly magical turn. Rosa’s new trait, known as Unsullied Blade, introduces a Mana-scaling melee build that combines single-target damage and AoE clearing through the Realm of Mercury mechanic. This is one of the most experimental and flexible hero traits ever released.
Focus Skills System Overhaul
Players should be happy to know that the Imbue system has been completely redesigned into Focus Skills. This is a new archetype that charges powerful attacks based on conditions like movement, crits, or crowd control. There are five unique Focus Skills available and each comes with its own high-impact identity and playstyle.
Tower Sequence Crafting
A new crafting system has been added which allows players to create modular power cores on non-legendary weapons and shields. It mimicks legendary affixes or enable all-new builds. There are almost 200 unique Sequences to discover and it’s the biggest addition to crafting since launch.
New Builds
The season introduces new Legendaries designed to anchor completely new playstyles. These include, among others, the tri-elemental chaos of Trinity, self-sacrificing power of Quantum Convergence for summon builds, and Spell Burst-focused gear like Solid River.
Talent System Overhaul
The number of core talents has expanded with players now having the freedom to choose up to five powerful core talents without being locked into primary/secondary categories. It results in build freedom being at an all-time high.
