Torchlight: Infinite Invites You to The City of Aeterna

Everyone is invited to take part in the new season of Torchlight: Infinite. Dubbed as "The City of Aeterna," there's a lot of new content to look forward to along with game adjustments.

For the new season, players get the chance to meet the Monument of Aeterna in each stage. Interacting with it allows players to enter the special map called as the Ruins of Aeterna. Those able to defeat monsters and complete challenges within the ruins obtain rewards. However, the most important item is the fragment of The City of Aeterna which is the Mark of the Ruins.

Entering the City

The Mark of Ruins can be socketed on the Aeterna Map and collecting the enough map result in the map being completed. Once that happens, players can now enter The City of Aeterna through the Monument of Aeterna or even Kandel. The City of Aeterna has monsters and defeating them gives players Energy. Obtaining a certain amount of Energy result in being rewards with Kindling. By offering this Kindling to the Sacrificial Bonfire, players receive generous rewards. That's not all since once the Sacrificial Bonfire progress is full, players can then challenge the boss of The City of Aeterna. Just remember that the Bonfires owned, the better the boss rewards that players can obtain.

The Infinite City

The new season also introduces the Season Talent Tree where players get to unlock Talent Nodes. This gives players a new way to experience the season along with obtaining different battle buffs and even additional map rewards. Those able to expand the Aeterna territory can eventually unlock the Infinite City of Aeterna.

Once the Infinite City of Aeterna is unlocked, each time a hunter is able to clear the Aeterna stage, the city advances one step forward in the eternal dimension. It makes the city even more dangerous, but the rewards increase.

Soul Candle

As they explore Aeterna, Hunters can obtain a new item known as Soul Candle. The Soul Candle can be installed in the skill interface and can nourish the soul of the Hunter and enhance the effect of the Hunter's skills. Soul Candles have around 1-3 affixes and the ranks of the affixes are random.
