Two New Arcana Talents Coming to Mabinogi this December

Nexon announced that Part 2 of the New Rise update for Mabinogi is releasing this December. The highlight is the introduction of two new Arcana talents.

Forbidden Alchemist

The first Arcana talent is called Forbidden Alchemist. It’s based on Combat Alchemy and for the first time in the game, incorporates a Life Talent, which is Potion Making, as a sub-talent. Each skill makes use of Alchemy Crystals and Herbs as components. This allows players to combine them in different ways and produce different effects based on the recipe.

The introduction of this new Arcana talent also means that the Alchemy damage logic is going to be completely overhauled.

Variable Gunner

The second Arcana talent is the Variable Gunner. It’s basically a combination of the Gunslinger and Synthesis Alchemy talents. This results in the Variable Gunner offering a rather versatile combat style especially since it makes use of Alchemy-based gun modification to perform different types of attacks like sniping, bombardment, or rapid fire.

The talent allows players to reconstruct the barrels of dual guns via alchemy. It lets them transform weapons into different forms like a sniper or a gatling gun. They can pretty much change it to whatever is needed in the current situation.

By using Synthesis Alchemy energy, the Variable Gunner can also charge special alchemical rounds to enhance the power of its Arcana skills.
