Waven: Enjoy Tactical RPG Combined with Turn-Based Combat

The free-to-play tactical multiplayer role-playing game Waven is finally available on Steam Early Access. This launch is a result of several open alphas along with a release of a demo version. The early access version is the final step before the official launch scheduled later this year.

The game introduces players to a world that's been flooded and only a few islands have managed to survive the rising waters. They take on the role of an adventurer looking to find the answers to this disaster. It is said that gods and dragons ruled this world long ago. While magic remains today, no one knows what happened to the mythical beings of the past.

Early Access

For the early access version, players begin with the prologue before quickjly diving in to the adventure which offers at least 250 quests for them to complete. There's also 17 destinations to visit with 25 heroes to discover along with 90 companions to collect. Players can choose to go PvP in the arena or do battle as friends.

Founder’s Packs

The early access launch also introduces three Founder's Packs. The first is the Standard Founder’s Pack which contains:

4x Broken Sword emotes

1x Throne trophy

Meanwhile, the Deluxe Founder’s Pack has the cosmetics available in the Starter Founder's Pack along with:

5,000x Gems

1x Symbiote pet

4x combat visual effects

Finally, the Premium Founder’s Pack comes with the cosmetics in the Deluxe Founder's Pack and these goodies:

Other Offers

The early access also has players receive the special FX cosmetic known as a halo world visual. It’s available during the early access period. Players who want to obtain more cosmetic items can do so with the free season pass along with the two paid passes of Gold and Platinum. The paid passes offer extra rewards after finishing in-game challenges.

Early Access of Waven is available on Steam for both PC and Mac. It's also accessible through the Ankama Launcher. When the final version is released later this year, the game is also going to be available on mobile platforms through Android and iOS.
