There's currently a lot of things being worked on in Once Human. Developer Starry Studio has been sharing features that are in the pipeline. One of these is Cross-Character Asset Sharing.
You see, the game features open-world survival mechanics along with a crafting system. It's designed that way to make sure that players get to experience the different scenarios with no restrictions. However, what's happening currently is that assets are being tied to a character level. This has resulted in creating what can be described as a significant barrier especially for players who want to create a new character to try new scenarios or even play with friends.
As a way of addressing this issue, the studio revealed that they're offering cross-character asset sharing starting March 27. This feature is expected to allow more resources to be shared as well as transferred across all characters on the same account. It should give players a greater freedom to play the way they want.
According to the studio, Stellar Stairway, Starchrom, and Blueprints, are going to be shared across all characters on the same account. After the update goes live on March 27, players can log in with any character on their account to activate cross-character sharing. After being activated, all characters on the account of the players get to share the Stellar Stairway progress, Starchrom, and blueprint data of the character with the highest Blueprint Collection level.
Get to learn more about this upcoming feature here. Now this is just one of the many things being worked on by the studio. There’s also the introduction of Permanent Servers and even the launch of a new PvE Scenario.
Once Human introduces players to an open-world and survival game where they get to explore an absorbing post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by an extraterrestrial entity known as Stardust. Combat is a core feature of the game as it offers exhilarating battles versus diverse enemies along with fights against powerful bosses from another realm. In addition to ensuring survival, the actions of the players in battle play a role in the welfare of other survivors.
