Days of Doom Invites You to a Post-Apocalyptic Fight for Survival on September 21

We finally have an official release date for Days of Doom. This upcoming title from developer SneakyBox and publisher Atari is coming out September 21. It's going to be available for the PC via Steam along with various consoles. The date was revealed during Fear Fest 2023.

Journey to Sanctuary

Days of Doom is a post-apocalyptic tactical RPG roguelite where players are given the challenge of reaching Sanctuary. It's a place of respite and promise amidst a world that's full of chaos. Players start with a small group of survivors and take on a journey to reach the ultimate destination. Along the way they'll encounter various threats like raiders, zombies, and zombie raiders. However, they also get to recruit a ragtag band of heroes that can protect the growing community while also fighting their way forward.

Use Unique Abilities

One way to success in the game's turn-based combat is to find a way to make use of the unique abilities of each hero. For example, early in the battle it would be good to use Pyro since he can ignite enemies and deal lasting damage. It's also possible to combine abilities to ensure the enemies is defeat. Hydromancer for instance can use a ranged water attack to set the stage. Thrasher can then do a follow-up attack for a "shocking" surprise to the already wet enemies.

There are going to be situations where the odds seem to be overwhelming, but players can survive and win by using the abilities of the heroes strategically. It's also important to upgrade abilities and even add new ones.
