The life simulator game Cinnabunny is now available on Steam. It has you take on the role of a bunny who runs a bakery. The game is meant to be a relaxing and cozy experience designed for gamers and non-gamers alike. It can be played locally by one or two players.

The game was developed by Reky Studios. Studios though might be a sort of misnomer since the work is all done by a solo dev. In a post, the solo developer himself said that being a solo dev means he could put all of his passion and drive in the project with the need to answer to "any shareholders, publishers, or people who don't share my vision." He added that his vision for the game is to offer an experience of peace, coziness, and cuteness overload.

Cinnabunny follows the story of a bunny family that's fighting a drought. Things are manageable so far but your mother has asked you to look for a new family that the family can live in. The good news is after a long journey you've managed to find a place which is Sugar Creek Burrows. All that's left is to save up so the family can finally move in with you.

Time to Bake

One way to save money is to run a bakery and sell whatever you make. There are different recipes to learn like breads, pies, and cookies. You can make your own version by adding a special combination of supplemental ingredients.

The thing to remember is that different recipes need different ingredients. However, a true baker always finds or makes those ingredients themselves. You can plant wheat to make flour for example or forage for Easter eggs in the forest. You can even head to the caves to mine for salt.

It’s not all about baking as this is one of the four basic skills available to you in the game. The thing is, each time you perform the skill successfully, you'll get better at it and as a result obtain unique bonuses as you level up.
