The latest collab in Summoners War is all set to start tomorrow. The collab is with none other than the anime show Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. There's a lot of new content to enjoy like the new Event Dungeon. Titled as "Hashira Training," it's something players of the game and fans of the anime are sure to love.
In Hashira Training, popular Hashira characters from the anime appear as final opponents across Normal, Hard, and Hell difficulties. The featured characters are Muichiro Tokito, Obanai Iguro, and Sanemi Shinazugawa, who all appear as Trainers to challenge everyone in intense battles and push Summoners to their limits.
The Hashira Training mode features a series of interconnected stages on a branching path. Once players are able to clear a stage, they can freely move to any adjacent area. Each difficulty level starts from a different location on the map with the final stage remaining fixed at the center of the map regardless of difficulty. This stage serves as the final challenge where the Trainers appear.
By clearing stages, players get to receive loot items which can enhance the stats of the Monsters or give them unique abilities. Now in past collaborations, players usually had to choose one of three random loot options. For this collaboration though there's something different. In each stage, players get fixed loot rewards while at the same time being able to preview the loot of adjacent stages before clearing them. Hopefully with this, players can plan their next move strategically after each stage.
By the way, as players clear stages, the Training Bar that’s at the top of the screen fills up. Once the bar reaches 100%, they can then enter the Trainer Stage, which is the final goal of the Hashira Training mode.
However, if players haven’t secured a connected path, they still won’t be able to enter the Trainer Stage even if their Training Bar is full. This means that they’ll have to plan the route to make sure that they access the Trainer Stage. The Trainer Stage can be accessed from the west, east, and south.
The new collab also introduces new characters to the game along with new minigames.
Summoners War invites players to Sky Arena, a world under battle over the vital resource known as Mana Crystals. The game is available for PC via Steam.
