Good news to players of The Elder Scrolls Online who are members of ESO Plus. That's because new perks are being launched as part of the new update released.
One of the new perks is that ESO Plus members now receive a 10% increase to earning Alliance Points though it's only for Currency, PvP Skill Lines, and Alliance rank only. The same increase applies to Tel Var Stones but limited to monster kills only. While this is indeed a good perk, it doesn't increase leaderboard rank AP gains nor allow for faster progress in gaining Rewards of the Worthy.
Access to New Companions
Members should also be happy to know that they get access to the new Companions for free. They get to own them regardless of ESO Plus membership status.
There are two new companions added to the game through the new update. There's the High Elf outcast Tanlorin who is able to combine the abilities of Soul Magic and Dragonknight. Then there's Zerith-var, who's a Khajiit Necromancer from the distant past. Both Companions join the game bringing their own passive abilities to unlock as well as having their own questlines and stories to tell. This should give players the chance to learn more about their allies.
ESO Plus
ESO Plus is a monthly subscription feature of the game. While players won't need to subscribe to this service to play the game, those who do become members receive added benefits. The two main benefits are getting access to all DLC and being able to obtain a "craft bag" which can hold unlimited crafting materials independently of the inventory. Members also receive a certain amount of crows that can be used at the store. Other benefits include getting increased Player Housing decoration slots, which should be useful for those who enjoy this aspect of the game.
