New Ultimate Weapons Added to The First Descendant with Latest Update

A new update is releasing in The First Descendant on November 5. There's a lot of new content for players to experience and enjoy. For example, there's the addition of two new ultimate weapons.

The Hypernova

The Hypernova is an ultimate which features a special action where the wielder can throw the sword which then results in a black hole created and pull enemies at its maximum distance. Re-activating the special action recalls the sword and triggers a massive explosion.

The Hypernova can only be obtained through the Battle Pass.

The Hive Master

The Hive Master can be obtained from the Supermassive Receptor Dungeon. This weapon gives players an Incubation effect on hit. Then at maximum stacks Shock Bugs are released which attach to targets. The bugs can track movement of the targets as well as automatically attacking nearby enemies. Multiple hits cause Discharge, which deal damage and stunning enemies. Meanwhile, consecutive multi-hits result in additional Discharge effects for devastating results.

New Ultimate Modules

New Ultimate Modules are also being added. A variety of Sword Exclusive Modules are to be introduced that include:

• "Conductor" Module: enhances Attribute damage for both Impact Rounds and High-Power Rounds.

• "Slaughterer" Module: exclusive to Impact Rounds that further increases power during consecutive attacks.

• "Berserker" Module: exclusive to High-Power Rounds that eliminates bullet consumption when landing a Critical Hit.

Other New Content

Aside from what’s already mentioned, the update also adds to the game a new story progression and the latest Descendant Harris.

The First Descendant is a next-generation third-person co-op action RPG looter shooter which features high-quality graphics developed using Unreal Engine 5. In the game, players become a Descendant whose mission is to fight against alien invaders.
