New World: Aeternum is the latest installation of the New World game. This immersive MMORPG set on the supernatural island of Aeternum. Players take on the role of an explorer stranded on the island and have to navigate a world that's teeming with danger and excitement. They'll also have to fight, forage, and forge through the wilderness and ruins strewn across the island’s landscape.
This updated version includes a total renovation of the storytelling approach and offers enhanced dialogue, added in-game cinematics, and pre-rendered scenes that make the game more cinematic. It also has the first-ever large-scale PvP zone that challenges the bravest of players. Meanwhile, the new 10-player raid amps up the stakes for cooperative multiplayer gaming.
The introduction of new end-game solo trials offer an exciting new challenge for solo players. This content varies for players based on the New World products they already own. Those possessing the base game and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion for example are granted access to all content in the New World: Aeternum update at no extra cost. Those who only own the base game get limited access to the updates and content launched.
