Tales of Fablecraft: A New Dawn for Virtual Tabletop RPGs

The virtual tabletop RPG, Tales of Fablecraft, has launched on Steam Early Access, as announced by the independent game studio Riftweaver. A new release date trailer was also shared, emphasizing the most crucial yet challenging aspect of any RPG: survival.

Tales of Fablecraft promises to deliver all the thrills of your favorite pen and paper or virtual tabletop game, without the hassle of upkeep. The game simplifies skill checks and dice rolls and handles all the math, allowing players to focus on the gameplay. The game also introduces an innovative GM Guide, designed to empower anyone to run a successful adventure with minimal preparation.

All players can download and play the full Road to the Starfall Festival Adventure for free. Additional premium adventures, dice skins, and player token skins will be available for purchase. The game will continue to expand with more purchasable adventures over time, and the option for GMs to create homebrew content, promising endless adventures in this magical world. Furthermore, Riftweaver plans to extend support to Android and iOS tablets later this year, followed by mobile device support in 2025.
